Stop Saying Sorry

We always find ourselves apologising for things that we don’t really need to and here is my reminder of things that you really don’t need to apologise for:

  1. Saying no. It can be to plans, or that extra shift. Whatever it is you are allowed to say no and you don’t need to apologise. 
  2. Saying how you feel. If something is bothering you, it is okay to let people know how it is affecting you and you don’t need to say sorry for that. 
  3. Asking for help. It is only normal to need help, we can’t do everything so don’t feel bad for asking if you need the help. 
  4. Looking after yourself. You are number 1 and if you need a self-care day yo are entitled and you don’t have to apologise or justify why.
