Good Physique?

Hi. Happy Sunday. How is your weekend going?

Do you have fitness goals this year, mainly relating to your physique?

It is great to want to build muscle and tone up but not everyone is in a place with their body where they can do this.

If that is you, maybe you should try to:

  • Focus on your internal health
  • Work on your relationship with food
  • Fix your metabolism
  • Work on maintaining good digestion
  • Not be so strict on yourself

Sometimes focusing on your internal health can actually be better for you.

  • Meal prepping
  • Getting movement in daily
  • Sleeping at least 8 hours
  • Drinking your 2litres water
  • Hitting PR’s in the gym.

Try the little things and they will equate to bigger things.

November Update

Hi there! I hope you are well.

November has been a busy month for me. I moved into my new flat which was exciting. It is nice to be able to have my own space again. I am feeling settled and like it is a home now.

I have worked a lot this month but we need all the money we can get for Christmas, especially with the cost of living crisis. Working in London, I am loving seeing all the Christmas decorations up. They are so beautiful.

I had an article published in Disgraceful magazine so that was absolutely brilliant. I wrote an article titled “How do I become more positive?” I love writing so. couldn’t be prouder of that.

Another exciting thing I did this month was that I did a photo shoot for NOBS App. That is Lucy Mountains app where she has home workouts, gym workouts/ guides and recipes it is a great space for your health and wellness. I took part with 2 other amazing models and we shot the gym imagery. It was so much fun and I am glad I took part in that.

I visited Battersea Power Station for the first time since it has opened to the public. They have a great variety of shops and food.

From there I took a walk to Southbank where I looked at the Christmas markets and started to get myself into the festive spirit.

I think it is fair to say that November has been a month of stepping out of my comfort zone but it was full of so much fun. Bring on December for more festivities and let us make the last month of 2022 a great one.

Wedding Bells Are Ringing

Hi There!

Happy Friday. I haven’t posted on her for about a week but I have had a good reason, I went on holiday. I travelled to Châtel in France for a wedding of one of my best friends. It was truly such a special day.

We arrived on Friday 7th October, and started the trip with Quiche while we waited for our ride from the airport. We got driven from Geneva airport to Châtel. The drive took about 1hour 40 minutes. We stayed in a chalet, but as it was dark, we didn’t get to see much of the view.

Waking up the next day was such a pleasant surprise, the views from the chalet were absolutely breathtaking. After a little walk, it was time to get ready and drive to where the bride was staying. We helped her get ready. She looked absolutely radiant. It was also really emotional. I have gone to weddings before but I haven’t actually been part of the whole wedding party like this as a bridesmaid.

View from the chalet

Once the bride was ready, us bridesmaids all got dressed. We wore a pool blue dress. We were on a tight schedule as we had to have the photos done before the ceremony. It was a raining but that didn’t dampen the mood. As they say in France, a rainy wedding = a happy wedding. Once all the photos were done, we had some drinks, meats and pastries before driving to the town hall for the marriage.

Me and The Beautiful Bride

Although it was in French, I did manage to understand some of what was being said. Next up was the Church ceremony. I can honestly say, it was an honour to walk down the aisle with the other bridesmaids. The ceremony was beautiful and you could see how happy they both were.

It was then time to unwind and enjoy an Appertivo followed by dinner and a party. Everyone was in great spirits. The food was tasty, the drinks were flowing and the dancing was in full swing.

Dinner at the wedding

I think we went to sleep gone half 4 maybe 5 but I can say it was a day full of love and happiness.

I Can Let Go

Nothing bad happens when we let go of the things that we can’t control.

The situation doesn’t get any worse, than the stress and unease you put yourself through from worrying about what you have no control over.

If we let go, will we feel better? Will we be happy? Will everything be okay?

The thing is, no one really knows the answer, but the one thing that we can do is don’t allow our imagination to create situations.

Let it go and trust the universe and if something doesn’t workout, it wasn’t meant to be.

Life Is Hard But Not Impossible

It isn’t a joke when they say life is hard and if you are struggling it is okay. It is a fact of life that we all struggle at times.

You don’t need to rush to find the solution or be positive straight away. Take the time to tune into how you are feeling and understand the emotions.

I know we can all put off and ignore how we feel by distracting ourselves, but sometimes you need to make room for a bit of wallowing.

Things always do work out in the end, and we are all on our own journey in life, just always know that you have the support to get you through the sticky situations that life likes to throw at us.

Everything that we go through in life shapes us to become the person we are today.

Be Ambitious

Be ambitious!

If you want a Bentley, an 8 bedroom house, to always travel, go after it until you get it. Find a way to make these things a reality.

Don’t stay stuck in the small boundaries that society sets for us or that is normal for the people you know.

It is your life, your story and your success. You choose exactly what you want. Don’t settle for anything less.

Happy Thursday.
